In case you live under a rock and haven’t heard, today is the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The world has been acting pretty ridiculous surrounding this event. There are some silly, tacky, nasty, ridiculous and just plain funny souvenirs, but my favorites are definitely the ones that don’t take this ‘event’ seriously at all.
Saw these at Pylones this weekend.
Sadly, this is only available in the UK
Royal sheets for your stay at special Premier Inns. Not creepy at all.
Come on, the 10 year old inside of you is thinking this too.
And drumroll please for my all time favorite wedding souvenir:
Don’t squint. You’re right. That is Prince Harry on the mug and no, I didn’t make this up.
It even includes ornate detailing and you can buy it here.
I’ve always liked women in menswear. It’s a sure hit when going for comfy casual any season, but I’ve never been a fan of how it tends to look for women as formal-wear. In my opinion, it mostly looks forced, but I definitely have to give credit where credit is due and say that all the looks that Anja Rubik wore for this May 2011 Vogue Paris editorial are impeccable. Everything from the styling, to the makeup to the tailored fit of the suits makes for a stylish and feminine girl out on the town.

I’m currently obsessing over these unusual and adorable clutches by the only designer that manages to blend quirky & classy: Kate Spade. I’m probably biased since these pieces bring together two of my loves, reading and fashion, but I think that one of these unique clutches can definitely “make” an outfit.
I’m definitely considering adopting one of these as my summer fashion staple.
you can buy them here.
