I’m not easily surprised when it comes to food, but these not only caught my eye, but also had me wondering if I had missed something all my life. Before you try to check your memory to see if you’ve ever seen these let me help you out. The odds are that no, you haven’t.
These strawberry-like berries were “re-launched” by Waitrose last April after near extension
I’m curious and would love to try them, even if they’re supposed to taste like watered down pineapples. I’d love to know if I could get my hand on these in the US.
“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
- Martin Luther King Jr.
In case you live under a rock and haven’t heard, today is the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The world has been acting pretty ridiculous surrounding this event. There are some silly, tacky, nasty, ridiculous and just plain funny souvenirs, but my favorites are definitely the ones that don’t take this ‘event’ seriously at all.
Saw these at Pylones this weekend.
Sadly, this is only available in the UK
Royal sheets for your stay at special Premier Inns. Not creepy at all.
Come on, the 10 year old inside of you is thinking this too.
And drumroll please for my all time favorite wedding souvenir:
Don’t squint. You’re right. That is Prince Harry on the mug and no, I didn’t make this up.
It even includes ornate detailing and you can buy it here.
The key to happiness in my closet is editing.
I only keep out the items that I am wearing
that moment, everything else is stored in bins
until the season (or my mood) changes.
I’m a big fan of fashion blogs, one of my favorites being Who What Wear. They’re genuine, fun and always have a unique edge in every new post.
I follow their tweets and read their blog daily, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. Check out this great insight into Katherine Power’s fashion and home on the Coveteur.
My favorite pictures are these, and after reading her descriptions for the pictures I will definitely try some editing in my own closet once summer starts.
Can’t get over the cuteness of this yellow umbrella that has a little peephole to help you survive rainy days.
“ What if a demon were to creep after you one night, in your loneliest loneliness, and say, ‘This life which you live must be lived by you once again and innumerable times more; and every pain and joy and thought and sigh must come again to you, all in the same sequence. The eternal hourglass will again and again be turned and you with it, dust of the dust!’ Would you throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse that demon? Or would you answer, ‘Never have I heard anything more divine’? ”
I’m pretty sure this is a time-machine delivered picture of my future daughter.
